Rick Jackson , Fwd: post, took the quad off ice yesterday, In Dorian there is water both sides road and you can see ripples when drove over with quad. There is no road on this side Portage!
Ice has pulled away from our landing by 4'
Had to lay down boards to get on/off ice. Should be boating May 15 ??

 Yesterday was -27 with windchill, today not much better minus 15 strong west winds. I’m taking truck off ice on April 10 . I expect the South facing side of French Narrows to be the first to become impassable, yesterday afternoon was -9 and the landing was sheltered from wind and with the mud being dragged onto ice it was getting wet. There were several large holes in road last week, which have froze solid, but will open up again, would do a lot of damage if you dropped a tire in one! road is so rough ( takes almost 1 hr to get to BarePoint ) can make better time on quad.
